Ah, what a write! So many versions of lies and yet when it comes down to it, as you stated in those excellent ending lines "no matter how you tell it ….still a lie". I like the sarcasm in the 'snitch' portion, adds a tone of disdain to this write, that goes a way in implying just what sort of response a lie, when uncovered, solicits. Fantastic!

Even the memory of the past has become entangled with present-day technology, eh? I like the 'defeats the purpose' type of situation you put together in this piece. Nicely done!

Although you may have had something specific in mind while writing this, each time I read this, different lines played peekaboo and the interpretations ran rampant. From the most literal meanings to one that conveys a measure of humanity as that which the past has beheld, the present is molding and the future that awaits. Such a thought-provoking write. Also, "sending stars to white dwarf deaths" is such a beautiful, visual line!

Insightful indeed, provokes thought into human nature's bond to the comfort that familiarity offers. Perhaps something that, at times, brings about a harmful stagnant state of being? Interesting one, Jody.

As absolutely delightful as this entire write is, I must tell you that while reading, I drifted straight into the first twenty lines and had no wish to venture out. The scenes, such vivid scenes that you painted with your words, were utterly captivating! Enamour with life, ever so beautifully portrayed!
