Poetry is a beautiful expression of thought, love, pain, suffering, joy, peace and etc...and yet it is limitless For a brief moment poetry allows one to be exposed in every since of the word. No more mask, no hidden agendas, just simply raw feelings and emotions. This is what makes it so wonderful. Poetry is a God given gift that comes naturally and is not forced. It manifests itself from the deepest part of our soul, and our emotions, It is a tool for enlightenment and sometimes darkenss is brought forth. It brings clarity and change for the individual that it is meant to touch, though that may not be everyone. Just as beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...so is true for poetry...what one may write may not be for everyone...so who are we to judge...and be critical of this art...what I may enjoy another may not...it is important that we understand and begin to live out kindness and respect for one another...yes we are all entitled to our own opinion...but sometimes opinons are just that...spoken out of jealousy...lack of understanding...low self-esteem...envy...lets try to make this a better community by not hating but loving... Poetry is not intented to be used as a forum for retaliation or abuse. In that its innocence and beauty is loss. When you love what you do there is respect that comes with the love for this art form. True poets may read other artists work and be inspired or not... and still maintain there own creative flow and signature skill without taking someone elses work and claiming it as there own this is not a true artist.
