About Me

  -------------------------------------

About Me:
Very few people at any one time ever write poetry that is any good. But surely all of them will read it and teach it with greater sympathy and understanding for having tried to write some. -W. D. Snodgrass. I write because my head is in a constant state of thinking. Emotionally I'm unstable because the world is constantly rotating. Sooo with that said enjoy. Peace. Xoxo...LiquidFire

R u n love? Feels like it and that's a beautiful thing. This is beautiful, takes me back to the beginning of love, when life doesn't complicate it and when the meshing of two is still so pure nothing seems to come between it.

{The young poet} should stay the hell out of writing classes and find out what's happening around the corner. And bad luck for the young poet would be a rich father, an early marriage, an early success or the ability to do anything very well -Charles Bukowski

**This is a very very very favorite poem of mine I wanted to share with yall.

George Gray**

I have studied many times

The marble which was chiseled for me

A boat with a furled sail at rest in a harbor.

In truth it pictures not my destination

But my life.

For love was offered me and I shrank from its disillusionment;

Sorrow knocked at my door, but I was afraid;

Ambition called to me, but I dreaded the chances.

Yet all the while I hungered for meaning in my life.

And now I know that we must lift the sail

And catch the winds of destiny

Wherever they drive the boat.

To put meaning in ones life may end in madness,

But life without meaning is the torture

Of restlessness and vague desire

It is a boat longing for the sea and yet afraid.

-Edgar Lee Masters
