lol i was waiting for that ending.. i knew it was coming, and it was so eloquently stated, that i had to smile, cuz only you can give this message in this way....
i love the detached voice used here, allowing the reader to feel the her emotionless observation, to enter into the logical mind that is scorning the dreamy nature of the "darlings" ... and love the use of that word to describe the couple... cynical in way as the write goes on... lol

wow how delicately you slipped in the words gore and bloody, yet what an impact it made to change the tone of this write... to take something that seems so beautiful and innocent yet is something blatantly - dare i say? - evil... but the beauty seems to trick the eye and the mind, yet its there... seducing... manipulating... and perhaps i've taken the wrong outlook on this write, but i wonder what will be done with the seed of lasting peace once its retrieved... lol great visuals, and im not referring to the background pic ;)
you use your creativity well in this write, weaving unique images into your words, creating that surreal place of flowing thoughts and feelings... "master piece of phoenix ash thoughts" - a great way to symbolize the miracle of rebirth... i have to admit that i had to read this several times, leave it for a few days and come back to it today... it is not the type of 2-dimensional write that one can just quickly read and skim through, it challenges a deeper part of the reader to really read with care and a clear mind... yet has that quality, that surreal feel to it, that makes one want to really READ it ....
aaaaahhhhh.... summer!
