About Me:

MAURICE BISHOP AKA WISDOM IS BORN AND RAISED IN SOUTH PHILLY. HE IS CURRENTLY SERVING IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY AND DEPLOYED TO IRAQ. HE WILL BE BACK IN THE STATES IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR. BEFORE THE ARMY, WISDOM BEEN PERFORMING HIS POETRY IN CHURCHES AS WELL AS OTHER PLACES SUCH AS; DREXEL UNIVERSITY, WORLD LIVE CAFE, YMCA RECREATION CENTER, 2006 YOUTH POETRY SLAM AT FREE LIBRARY OF PHILADELPHIA (SEMIFINALIST), ETC. ALTHOUGH DEPLOYED TO IRAQ WISDOM PERFORMED AT THE MEMORIAL HALL TALENT SHOW AS WELL AS TALIL CHAPEL CHRISTMAS CONCERT. HE HAS A BOOK COMING OUT TITLED "BLOOD ON PAPER". THIS PIECE IS BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE IT EVEN MORE BECAUSE IT WASN'T DEPRESSING. YOU TALKED ABOUT THE STRUGGLE BUT YOU DIDN'T STOP THERE. YOU OVERCAME IT! THE TRAILS WE GO THROUGH CREATE CHARACTER AND IT DEVELOP US INTO A STRONG MAN OR WOMAN. AGAIN THIS IS A GREAT PIECE...10 STARS..

Some friends are only there for a season! The only thing I can say is I know a friend who will never leave you and you can always count on him. He knew you before you was even born. Great emotion in this piece..Keep ya head up...Much Love and Respect
