The Memories of Classic Sounds
(THE STORIES BEHIND THE MUSIC)

The years have passed me now
but never have the memories been
more awakening.
(Just reminiscing over all the good times
I used to have in love & life, to the
sounds of music!)

“Playin’ If This Word Were Mine as I’d
think of what my future was to be, tellin’
myself that I’d fulfill my dreams well before
my peers; beginnin’ to find and learn of myself.
With every song came new experiences
that would leave indelible impressions
on both mind and heart.”

***I play the memories of love back like classic hits time-and-time again and wonder (like Jeoffrey Osborne “…: how do you keep them - the songs - from fading, how do you make them last…”), will the feelings they brought ever come back to me, I mean, will they be Too Much, Too Little, Too Late or right on time like so much more I seek?***

My First Love…
She would tell me:

The Reasons that you are with me, Here & Now is because
it’s only you I wish to give the Best Of My Love to. I know we
started out as Secrete Lovers with juvenile intentions with
no real Temptations but still I want Just To Be Close To You.
Though it’s Just My Imagination getting the best of me, Surfacing
like an obsessed Heatwave, I am even more Caught Up In The Rapture
and hope that you too are feelin’ the Inseparable connection as I do.

Because Ready Or Not I trust you and want you to be
my first, having The First Time be special if you be gentle ‘cause
baby I’m So Into You; I’ve wrecked my brain thinking of
One Hundred Ways to satisfy you. Wanting you to
Show Me The Way as it be Just The Two Of Us with
Sexual Healing, climaxing ‘til we Feel The Fire praying
they’ll be no more Purple Rain putting us out. Maybe
Just Once think about our first kiss After Hours and
our New Beginnings, hopin’ they’ll last All Night Long and
turn into Always And Forever
as we allow our lips to Slow Dance to the
beat of our hearts erratic Slow Jams,
Touch each others Emotions with Whip Appeal long enough
to capture that Feel Good All Over moment.

I just want to show you how much I want to love
you ‘cause I’m Tired Of Being Alone,
and If You Don’t Know Me By Now then Betcha By Golly, Wow
I’ma see to it I take you on a Natural High like a Drifter,
be my first Shining Star leaving me just wanting to Float On
while I suppress all my feelings of a Misty Blue past
and just patiently wait on you to Stay In My Corner
as we watch Sideshows of The Dramatic instances

Take your words and actions to the Stairway To Heaven
with Ecstasy like a Dream Merchant as I know the thought
of being with you is Truly amazing. I mean I feel safe like
I’m Ready For The World in your presence as your actions
promise me all its Happiness ‘because how you
treat me lets me know you’ll be good to me and I’ll Be Good To You,
so your Love Won’t Let Me Wait seein’ mine can’t
give up on you; just wanting to Cherish your moment ‘cause
(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don’t Want To Be Right.” It’s like…

You’ve become The Wind Beneath My Wings all of a sudden,
you’ve Turned Back The Hands Of Time for me. As I look into your
Dreamy Eyes and think of how the Pillow Talk will be, how the chemistry
will play As We Lay comfortably one day, I wonder… Will It Last,
When Will I See You Again after that moment, will you Call Me;
will your love ever completely Lean On Me, will you ever
be like: “Let’s Do It Again ‘cause I’m In The Mood” for you,
in a real nice and calm voice, wantingly saying: “How Can I Ease The Pain”

Tell me: “I don’t like feeling On My Own, so baby, my Sweet Thing,
I want to Think Of You day and night, let that be All I Do,” hopefully anticipating
you to say: “ Let’s Stay Together indefinitely and finally share an Endless Love
like a couple should do,” then kiss me ever so passionately as we
embrace each other ‘til our Body & Souls just break down in
silence. This is the feeling you bring me; this is the love I
seek from you, my first, my last, my everything!
