Poetry is comprised of a duality in behavior
It can be one's sin......or one's savior
A poet's mind aided and abetted by the scriber's ink
Couples one's actions with what the poet imagined to think
Accessoried (before and after the fact): Deed and Intent
Designing the lines, projecting what the writer.......meant
Now, in the realm of Law, Latin is the framing and defining thumbed rule
And in Poetry, benign or malicious language can be used as a tool
"Mens Rea" means "Guility Mind"
"Actus Reus" means "Guilty Act"
And, together, they can form quite a heinous pact
By Omission, Commission or even Possession
And after all is said, not said, had or done
A poet's after vision can reflect on how and where it had all begun.....
Because Poetry is comprised of a duality in behavior
It can expose the liability of one's fault........or personify one's favor
