"mental translation..."
  by mariposa

*** a relationship between spanish and english ***
it is said that spanish is a language of abstraction, love and emotion... whereas english is best suited for reality, technology and science...
so it is said...
not necessarily true
yet perhaps for some it is...

(english translation at the end)
________________________________________________________________

~~~mental translation...~~~
I reach and grasp
for fleeting words
that give expression
to thoughts, passions and desires
unable to logically decipher
vaults of encrypted emotions
perhaps i must chose
to allow my mind to speak
en otras palabras...
en un lenguaje mental
que no existe en forma concreta
pero en un plano abstracto
una manifestacion artistica
que reside dentro de mi corazon
escrito por mi alma
y por las oscuridades de mis experiencias
traducido mentalmente
back to logic...
now able to clearly see
that which i struggled to understand
my position clarified
fortified by belief and conviction
that keeps my soul true
but allows me to finally express myself
directly, effectively and concisely
using other words...
*************************************************************************************************
Spanish section translated, for my non-Spanish speaking friends and readers
... to let my mind speak
in other words...
in a mental language
that doesn't exist in a concrete form
but in an abstract plane
an artistic manifestation
that resides inside my heart
written by my soul
and by the obscurity of my experiences
mentally translated
back to logic...
i would have to agree that Spanish, and indeed all of the romantic languages, are much better suited for emotional expression. and this is wonderful the way that you wove this together so beautifully. i have to admire your ability to switch between languages so completely and fluidly weaving a beautiful picture between the lines. you know...some times it's soothing to the soul to read what you write. you have a beautifully realistic outlook on life, even while maintaining an artist's abstract an...
