In minds cave in the dark I sit by the sea waiting for the
Sunlight to peak it’s about the crack of dawn where the dark
Turns into the light

Trying to keep beautiful memories that were made and now
They’re saved in minds cave where there was darkness
Dampness for far too many days…too many years

Sea weeds had grown onto the wet moist heart rock walls that were at
One time gorgeous full of life full of love but from heartache
Started to die salty teardrops that had fallen from my eyes

Every part of the minds heart fought for the sunlight to come out
I Fought to keep it alive for love is suppose to be stronger than life

Withering shriveling no survival at all smothering suffocating
Falling into the cracks heartache took over it got stronger
And stronger and from that darkness took over

Where was the sunshine the smiles sunbeams bursting wide?
Of my minds cave eyes full of life and love you see had died

For the Sunshine had fallen deep into the earth’s core blackness
Stayed with me for what seemed like an eternity
Would the sunlight ever shine upon me once again and set me free?

One minute at a time which turned to an hour at a time which
Turned into days at a time which turned into years at a time

Cold wet darkness was there trying to catch just a breathe of fresh air
Grasp just a tiny bit of sunlight that would bring the minds cave
Back to life for love is a feeling one should never live without

Look for me find me touch me love me caress me open my minds
Cave again to breathe to grasp the sunshine the air to be free

To live to love bigger then life ever before will once again
Fall upon me forever more…

Minds cave has crawled out onto the shore of the sea for
I’ve been set free feeling the sunshine’s sunbeams of light
