Mommy Loves You

To my beautiful babies
I need you to know these things

Without you in my life,
Mommy has no wings

Without your voices laughing loud
Listening to music I couldn’t sing

As you get older I try my best to improve
Teaching all the little things that in this life disprove

I want you to be strong unlike many of my days
Learn not from as I do, but learn from my mistakes

I pray to get better on those days my body aches
I have to set a good example for your very own sake

My life was not a mistake if bringing you here would be at stake
The angels sent to me to make sure every morning that I awake

Your beautiful smiles, tender hands and feet
I treasure the rythem in your hearts as they tenderly make a beat,
I quietly listen as you’re peacefully and sound asleep

I want you to know that it’s okay when sometimes I may cry
Occasionally I get tired and it’s my eyes letting out a sigh
I know you want to comfort me and I’m grateful that you try

When you are older please know it’s not ok to feel misused
Your body is your temple and should never be abused
Your temple is your pride and joy and you should hold it very near
For no one is worth you suffering and nothing should make you fear

The reason I have to clean every night when I arrive @ home ;-)
The reason I wake up rushing in the morning cause I cant find my other shoe
The reason I’m late to work because I have to dress me as well as two
The reason for my smiles when I hear the words Coco Rico (Puerto Rico)
The reason I pop in the tape to record the singing of my little American Idol

The reason I am blessed every day that I’m able to breathe
For without my little girls, my life would probably be @ ease
But without my little girls I would have no reason to achieve

You are my Heart, my Soul and the Light in the center of my Life...
