I leave work early because I have a very special date tonight!
I have a date with Destiny!
I have been ignoring her lately…..but no more!
She needs to know how special she is

SO….

I make reservations at my favorite restaurant
Take the car to be detailed
Run into Victoria’s for a lace and satin gift
Then stop by the flower shop and pick up a dozen calla lilies



No expense will be spared
She will be lavished with love
She is constantly taking care of everyone else
Tonight I am going to take care of her!

I stand in the foyer and look at Destiny in amazement
She is glamorous!
Pretty hair; pretty manicured feet
This Georgia Peach looks pretty enough to eat!



On to dinner I proceed
When I’m shown to my table
Everyone is looking at Destiny
Everyone is looking at me

An expensive meal of indulgence
Romantic music feels serene
Soft candles light sets the atmosphere
Nothing is too good for Destiny!



Arriving back at the house
I stand once again in the foyer
Looking in the mirror at Destiny
Looking in the mirror at ME

I giggle and say………….
TO MYSELF:
“I had a lovely time with you Destiny”
“We should do this more often!”
