I get thru the days and nights blood steadily flowing
Thru my veins, heart palpitations, thumping, pumping
Breathing as it keeps me alive, but I ask myself
Where is the love that woke my heart to life?

My minds cave…I wonder…

As another day and night now falls as I close the world out
I look in the mirror wondering what you are doing. I Shed
My clothes step into the shower smiling to myself I imagine
You in front of me

I laugh a little thinking how we bathed together and watched
Movies after, how you did anything crazy to make me laugh as
You laid your head in my lap I replay the scenes like a movie all
Of my very own...

Sighing, I pull out your shirt put it on to feel close to you,
Taking in your scent as I slip into your favorite colored sheets
I wrap myself in as I gaze out at the adoring night as I lay there
Wanting to hold you tight, an give you all of me your heart
Desires again...

I love you darling though great the distance, it doesn’t matter how
Far that doesn’t stop me from loving you at all. You know all life's
Burdens are worth knowing one is loved by a true genuine heart

So as I lay here playing these memory reels of you I keep within me
Alive while missing you with all my might, I need you to know that I
