My Queen waft to me in a dream of things that could not be Real
She soared down to me on a cloud
in shroud of
cocoa flavored mist
i insist
bongos
whispered gently in my ear
As She drew near
i saw she was crowned with a natural
an Afro and
Her fresh snow-white smile froze my heart and sent chills down my spine
near blind
was i
from its radiance
The incandescence of Her gaze had me dazed
and i felt
days
had passed in Her eyes or
lives had been lived in mere seconds
The decadence of the "Real" world ceased to exist
my world was
caramel-colored bliss and i wished every moment could be like this
Utopian
More than attraction
it was
satisfaction
in what our future could bring
Not material things
but
producing and teaching human beings to sing the tune of their own Destinies
No resumes or
applications or
consternation for would-be bosses or rulers
like computers
we would link peoples in our own web and
then
She spoke
Her voice sang to me in new octaves
too provocative for the weak of heart
"Apart
we will always be"
She crooned to me
"Only in a Perfect world could we share
our dreams and
split the seams of disharmont
the largest army could not defeat our tribe
of visions for our future
Besides
I
am only a dream"
My Queen saw my
miserable expression at Her words and
Her vision blurred as
She shed
honey-sweet tears for my pain
Then i explained
i am supposed to dream
to esteem
for things greater than i and
many more things
did i say and
She smiled approvingly and
began to drift away
"What is Your name?"
i called after Her
My Queen hovered near
so that
Her lips touched my ear and
She whispered
i looked in Her eyes and
thought i had died
when
i awoke
i awoke with Hope for my future and
i vowed to hunt
high and low
far and near
countries and kingdoms
for the Empress that
called Herself
