From day one sistah's life was a mess
She came from a past rooted in turmoil and stress,
At the age of ten she was already drinkin' and getting high as a kite
You cant blame her though
She just didnt have anyone to tell her what was wrong or right.
Things was hard for her you know
Growin' up in the hood,
Surronded by negativity and searching for the good.
Time passed by and she became a young lady
Before she knew it she was fifteen and about to have a baby,
At sixteen she gave birth to twins
But wait this is only were the story begins,
One died from a whole in his heart
And it tore hers apart.
Things started looking better when she went to beauty school,
She learned how to sew weave,braid hair, and perm
But some how she ended up gettin' on that sherm.
And things took a turn for the worse
It was like there was no end to this curse.
Next thing she knew she was almost 25
Doin what she had to do to survive,
Things were hard and sometimes she would cry.
Then it happened........
She got shot in the eye.
But she aint die
Because her journey is not over yet
her past might be dark but she has no regrets,
Because her future is bright
And best believe she aint goin' down without a fight.
So Myshia whenever your frustrated and feeling as though life is through
