LadyMay16 No Other Love
by LadyMay16

On like a flashlight
Shining brightly in my eyes
Beaming pretty sights

Of kaleidoscope
Figures to dance in heart
Stepping in sync

Of what our future
Once held for the two of us
Keeping us content

Waiting for repeats
To creep up and start again
Making a re-run

And this show better
So as to get an A plus
In our life’s review

Thought it’d be easy
To walk away form this thing
Like all past feelings

Would leave once I did
Yet the reality of
It all stays on mind

Fresh like words from mouth
When day was good and frisky
Moments got us good

Wrapped in emotions
Hoping to last forever
Like a fairytale

Not sure about you
But I do know there was no
Other love like yours

"Thought it’d be easy To walk away form this thing Like all past feelings Would leave once I did Yet the reality of It all stays on mind "... *sigh* this was beautifully written and you expressed that feeling.. perfectly... i loved this

great song and a cheerful, melodic poem to follow..each line gave detail to what extravagance fulfilled in pure love that is delivered..

this is my first time reading your stuff -- i don't understand this on its face, seems very personal (almost like a riddle) -- and yet in some sublime sense, it works for me...
