"On the Afternoon I left by Regret"
  by Terry

I will tell you this, you owe me immensely; I am responsible for your happiest days
Five plus five plus five plus four, not even twenty five
And you believe you have reached your peak because of the dunce cap you wear

I affirm by your posture that I will not be ludicrous
You affirm by your backbone that you will not be ludicrous
Then Chris Bridges gave me relese therapy in the theater of his mind in a single sitting

Would you rather perish preaching or singing?

December apologizes for being the twelfth month
October for being the tenth
The whore for wanting to be loved
And I for having a pencil as a tongue,
Scribing away my soul for eyes as cold as winter to see

A poet broke both their wrists
The songstress lost her trachea in a car accident
and my, my eyes are swollen with bags under them
My pen is running dry of ink
My printer is almost out of toner

What is proper etiquette for saying “It’s over”?
