"One Tear.."
  by Sirens.Soul

As a stray tear slid down my cheek
I thought of moments where
nothing else mattered between us

A moment of time elapsed
when I sought to emerge from the
emotional limbo I was caught in-

I didnt think before my desperate act
One moment that had the power to break
a hold I thought would forever be untarnished

One solitary tear..
Kindled hearts
Immersed in rage of the moment

One friendship
Bent and broken
Pushed off a cliff
And shattered on the rocks below

One tear that holds infinite sorrow
As it drains her of all life itself
Broken and shattered on the floor

Her heart remains
One heartbeat..and another
Fainter still..
