"our pride"
  by deeppurple

sometimes our pride will take us on a ride if we let it.
sometimes our friends say to much and we wish to forget it.
sometimes we live with threat and regret.
sometimes the person thats our friend we distance ourselves from,
because that person we know can see right thru us and of course they say stuff because (they been knew us).
sometimes our friends are all around us but they dont physically surround us.
to be honest there's only a few we trust.
sometimes the friend that hates you (is the person that ain't you).
sometimes the friend that you like, told your azz to take a hike before you
two fight.
sometimes the friend that acts the hardest is the smartest
and is the prettiest.
sometimes the friend that hurt you never felt you.
sometime s the friend u love does'nt need your help they need the god above.

Again...the speech is different and simple...but it says a great deal...as if some street fabler...nice work
