Too thin, too fat,
Never been perfect, that’s a fact
But does the world see me as I am
No!
They see my as less of a person, damned
My outer appearance matters more than my affection
The length of my hair is measured more than the content of my character
Body image is more important than grades
But you can’t judge a book by its cover
Cause anything can be veiled like a well-known disease, Aids
The focus is always on the smaller things whether than the bigger picture
When will the world see that material things are just a figment of our imaginations
Can we ever wake up and start living the dreams
Dreamt up so many times but are too hard to achieve
When will the focus on the interior of an individual be more prominent
And the promises of a better tomorrow will be true gold
The fake can be made real, by the truth being spoken
The blind will unveil their eyes
See the change that can be made
Realize this earth is more than what man has perceived it to be.
