"philosophics"
  by 11th Wonduh

externally, i needn't rock a mas/que/rade
.....as i rock mines internally

ebony pigmentation is
not my mask, as it's only just a hue

& is self-depreciable
after peak maturity

expenditures, accrue when
we deplore ourselves to pacify insecurities

mas/que/rad/ing
self within the vines of denial

eating the sweetnuss
of the berry, poisoned w/ lies

sippin from the pimp
goblet of confusion & ambiguity

as he/she metamorphs
into a hustler's god, a promiscuous deity

& they continue to
remain in character

self-depreciating
internally, as they relive tales in 3rd person

one wonders....
just how long can you remain masqued

'fore your ass
is exposed

subject i'm
discussin, the fake rapper

posin in poet's
free/flowstyle, pen & prose
