There is too much power in religion
trapped in a box of tradition
somethin’s missin
this cant be HIS vision
God please come pay us a visit

A relationship wit you they refusin it
‘Cause all they wanna know is what color the deacon’s suit is……..
and do he know who Sister Ruth is…
they get all in your business and they do it so ruthless
God why do they do this?
I thought you were emphasis
not who’s readin the announcements on Sunday morning
I hope this is taken as a warning
I've been in such torment
That’s why I feel so MISUNDERSTOOD

I’m the product of a broken home community
God where is the unity
They preach Jesus but where is the proof
Lord I’m just so confused
I’m tired of the works from man’s hands
you know…..the ones that’s put a lady in hell if she wearin pants
and if the man got braids they wont even give ‘em a chance
it hurts so much 'til i wanna cry
Christ didn’t die just for me to wear a tie
and his blood didn’t spill from the cross….just for a girl not to wear lip gloss
He paid the ultimate cost
for our souls being lost
So please pay attention
there are too many souls hurt, confused and missin
that’s why were all MISUNDERSTOOD

Don’t Judge God from Man’s mistakes…get to know him for yourself!
