I look outside my window
Thinking maybe if i look somewhere else
My pain will have dissapeared
But all i see are dark cloud not sunny skies
The rain beats down against the ground
I realize now, I want to run outside
And feel the cold wetness, on my bare skin
It starts to fall harder, I rush to the door
Outside, I stand letting the rain
Hit my hot body
Soaking wet, I just dont' care
My sorrows have dissapeared
The rain is like my tears
Washing away all anger and dispair
It frees my tortured soul
Helps me in my odd little way
Now the rain is dying down
I start walking back to the door
At the door I stop and turn around
To my surprise the rain left behind a gift
A beautiful, colorful rainbow
