In uncomfortable situations
Repeatedly
Opening a wound
That needs to heal
Her, I want
Though the need
Is uncertain
Warring within self
Is it she
That I love
Or is it
The shared time
Do I crave kisses
Or her kiss
Was the feeling good
Because someone was willing
To be there
Or is her presence
A prerequisite
To my happiness
Foolishly placing self

Though is it I
That she
With love
One should never have to ask that
Yet, I do
Repeatedly
And I refuse to ask again
If it truly were I

For this

Why do we do that, know what we have to do but still and all we don't and know we shouldn't place ourselves back in a certain position bc we already know we will get hurt but still we do. What is the push is it for them or just us remembering the feeling ao it pulls us right back??? Nice flow of emotions.
