Seems like, streets glowing…
So why does it seem like this is more than becoming?
It feels like these moments aren’t passing,
Refutable knowledge that pain is everlasting.
Depressing but reassuring that a man’s power is sustaining,
Evidence that deprivation can improve well being.
In front of me,
I see more than just phallic destiny.
But a counterpart of feminine capabilities
Wish it was your spiritual sensory
That brought this uncanny misery…
But nomadic tendencies got the best of me.
I’m just not there in the streets
My love for you is a martyr sacrificed at your feet
Predestined limitations slain hopeful imagery
Wish that you and I were meant to be
But a heart’s feelings has an irrational creed
To follow it’s desire despite your feelings.
Life’s just not fair…
But I am trying to repair
To deliver a moment of hope surrounded by despair
To resurrect implications about the love we share
So I ran so the pain alone, I would bare
Until I can die and resurrect the man who devotion to, you can swear
Until then…
I’m just not there in the streets…
In the streets…
I’m just not there, life’s just not fair.
(Some lyrics taken from Kanye West’s “Street lights”. 808s and Heartbreak. 2008)
