I continue to wonder what cigarettes were put on this Earth for
People profiting off of self hazardous products used by adults and teens
Doesn't that sound very inhuman and utterly obscene
Some human beings indulge in them to relieve anxiety and stress
The downside is that smoking cigarettes damages organs in your chest
Lungs convert from pinkish red to the color of black
You're life expectancy is decrease by each pack
There are commercials,websites,and ads telling people to stop
They inform that cigarettes are hazardous even on the box
Cigarettes are composed of Cadmium,Methanol,Arsenic,Butane,and Nicotine
Those are only a few of those deadly ingredients that will rob your good health clean
I'm sure you can temporarily dispel your stress with cigarettes
But lung cancer would definitely be your greatest regret
Lung cancer would just conjure up a larger amount of stress
Cravings for cigarettes should be deeply compressed
Cigarettes can also lead to a vicious heart disease and a grave stroke
When stress comes around I advise you to find another way to cope
This awareness poem is most likely to fall on deaf ears
Do millions of human beings have carelessly die for my message to become clear
Kill the addiction and banish your reckless procrastination
Either that or death will eventually become your destination
Smokers I know for a fact that you don't want to send your family into a state of lamentation
