Soon you''ll see
there will come a time
when your phone will ring and it wont be him
wishing you goodnight on the other line

soon there will be a time
where he wont be online like before
because there will be no use
to try to get through to you anymore

soon there will come a point
where he will no longer bring you joy
because his organ of love
you managed to play with and destroy

soon you will notice
somethings missing in your life
and realize
what you did to him just wasn't right

soon he will accept the fact
of never receiving your love
he'll eventually leave you
no matter how much it hurts for him to give up

soon you will remember
all the good times you both shared
and wish that you could have told him
how much you really cared

soon you will long for his hugs
and his presence
and come to grips how greatly
you are affected by his absence

soon you'll wake up and finally realize
that he's the one person you love with all your heart
But sadly he'll be waking up next to another boy
who knew he was something special from the very the start

And you'll always live with regret
knowing there was no need to have lost him
naive, you never made him your top priority
instead you put him aside as just another one of your options
