I know I have caused us pain
And made us both cry
But I promise I won’t do it again
Or even give it a try
I will try to leave it at the past
And make sure it stays there
I won’t try to make things go fast
I will also try to make things fair
I hope you have it in your heart
To give me another chance
I really don’t want to see us apart
So please give me another chance
