Take a look in his eyes you will see nothing wrong
look in his heart you will see a boy singing a sad song

take a look in his eyes you will see a 16 year old boy wit scars
standing tall filled with pride even though he is broke and his dads gone

gone in prison were he will stay for almost life
he tries to do good on this earth so he don't pay that same price

same negative qualitys of his father in him
when he slip mom thinks hes going to end up just like him

take a look in his eyes you will see a man that stands up for what he beleaves
addicted to the life that he had slanging on the streets

try to make his mom proud but is hard when your homies nead you for dirt
to get back at a man that said a couple of words

so he says no! come home to his mother and sis
the next day his two homies get arrested for murder and he titen his fist

head down to the floor saying that could of been him
his mom hugs him and says look up and always stand on your feet

so the next day is the same back out wit the gang
on his second strike hoping nothing happins today
