Thank you for being there when I needed you,
If not you, what other adult could I run to?
I know there are others but not as young as you,
And there was no one else, so what could I do?
You're easier to talk 2, since your closer to my age,
So I know when talk to you, we are on tha same page!
You alwayz give me great advice, and tell me things straight up,
And your also funny wit it, Thatz whatz sup!
You're only looking out for me because you know whatz best,
Cuz when I start talking, you already know tha rest!
You like to dance with us, and you love to joke,
And while you do this, you don't have a stroke!
You're not afraid to express your feelings to others,
And when you get around tha parents you act just like tha mothers!
You have a kid, have a job and u go to school,
And all I think is that's so cool!
To do all of that and still look good,
People wouldn't even know, you were from tha hood!
You try your best in whatever you do,
One day I hope to be just like you!
