The Depth of Our Love

as my eyes gaze past eternity
seeing wonders so sublime
I praised the day
like the Sabbath
when you became mine

manifested over time
like grapes into wine
I ingested you into my life
being subdued
by your mind

entranced
as my feelings advance
you enhanced the chance
by a simple flutter of your eye
as you glanced

deep into my soul
you take a hold
never knew that emotions
this intense could as ever
be as bold

as the love here unfolds
...tell me...
how deep is your love for me?
is it as powerful
as my mind does dream?

sitting here waiting
for you to explain
your reality

and she answers:
