"The heart gently weeps"
  by Blakfiya

The heart gently weeps...

for the situations
people are facing
got 'em casing, craving, maniacally raving,
debasing selves...

ducking shots
behind cinder blocks
and pointing guns
and fingers at
good and also,
crooked cops
recruited to watch
out for you...

though its the evil that men do
that threw them
and you
into
high noon type snafus

with planted guns
and forensic scenes
to figure which one drew first
him
or
you
but still Al
showed up to say
this could have been handled
a whole different way

but this way,
so many people got
stories and thoughts
framed
and the inside scoop on
games

and ideas
to make it appear
that they got control
this year

but I was reading the obituaries...
and no body died who deserved it
or at least that the way we all heard it

"He was a good dude"

but somehow,
his Baby's momma was cold blooded
and brought their child along
during the while
she gutted him
from navel to Adam’s apple
and gave the baby a pacified Snapple
to keep him quiet
cause he's obese at two
from all the fast food
she through into
never denying Fatman
a scoop of
anything but you [the father]

and who's daddy anyway?

not the 9-5er she ran for his loot
or the flattop....now faded
...that she thought was so cute

nah,
only the woo knows the truth…

she was raped by his best friend,
a certified brute
who said she nodded [yes]
when her brain got looped

so who fucking cares about the kid, anyway
and he always has felt such, anyway
so now he's standing outside
...a runaway

and the heart genlty weeps....

cause there is no love in his heart
but there is a gun in his hand
and he has no respect for himself
or the approaching man

[bang, bang]

as it all starts again
