heavy was my heart
when the pain took over me

praying for salvation
that i never thought i'd see

visualizing imaginary flickers
only seen in dreams

glimpses of an angel
now standing here
before me

sweeping away my torment
haunting parts of me

mumbling to me mentally

feeling the warmth of my blood
