(A conversation between me and my alter ego)


(Katherine):
Hey girl, I really gotta talk to you.
I've been having troubles with my boyfri....
Well my ex-boo.
things between us aren't like I'm use to.
He says he still loves me and you know I love
him too but my happiness with him is way past due.


(Kit-Kat):
Your feelings for him is what needs to be
through cause the truth is..
He has a girl and that my dear is not you.


(Katherine):
I know everything that your saying is true
but
If you were me you would have trouble with
this decision too.
How would you feel if the person you loved
stopped showing love towards you?

If you found out that everything you thought
he felt wasn't true?

You can't expect me to toss all the hurt in
the air and claim that its through.


(Kit-Kat):
Female....Thats not what I'm asking of you.
I'm not asking you not to care but
Damn Girl
When you see him in a room just act like he's not
there.
Don't give him a reason to feel like he's got you
Even if he do
just remember....he never really loved you.


(Katherine):
But.....I...


(Kit-Kat):
Ima stop you right there before you have a chance to
finish your words.
Kat...what I'm trying to get through to you is you
gotta remember your self worth.

Your more than being played
More than his lies.
You've already been kicked in the ass so while your
still bent over you better search for your pride.


(Katherine):
I have my pride
It's just my feelings for him that still
linger I can't deney.....


(Kit-Kat):
Then think about all the times he's made you cry.
His false promises and kept secrets
Theres something else you can't deny.
You don't have pride you have FALSE pride
otherwise he wouldn't have you so hurt that you
would rather die.

Kat.....please realize
Everytime he hurts you I feel it too
Everytime you cry I cry too

You gotta be considerant and remember that
I'm a part of you..
And the big question is..

How much more are you gonna put us through??

The Truth is..
It's hard being the strength for you.
The voice thats speaking common sense to you.

I'm the part inside that can only tell the truth
And
The Truth is..
Girl..I love you.
Now its time that you start showing that you
love me too.

Let this thing go and just be through
Cause, all he's gonna do is keep hurting you.

(Katherine):
Us....
All he's gonna do is continue to hurt us.
I realize everything that I've put us through.
All the times that I depended on you
instead of pushing through...

You've always spoken the truth
and the truth is what I need to start
listening to.
Honestly...
I have no clue where I would be if I didn't have you
to talk to.
You to help me push through.

(Authors note: the reason why I put this poem under INSPIRATIONAL for all who
have asked is because I'm trying to get through to all those girls (and some guys) to
start listening to that little voice that telling you not to put up with certain things
when it comes to relationships. And to really see that their worth so much more
than that person is treating them and to realize that maybe..that person really wasn't
for real and that its time to move on and to really just love yourself first before anybody else)
