For no consolation
He pieces together each collocation
Each element plaguing thought
Their martyr
Sacrificing his emotional strain
So they may sustain sanity
Until radical defiance
They feel threatened
Non-compliance
Fear kindling this conundrum
Implausible the notion
One man should shelter the potency to sway masses
Silenced he must be
Lips become encased in an iron clad vizard
Protection from his wizardry
Jagged metal leaving abrasions to the face
Dry saliva and blood
The only flavor he taste
This does not impede the sound of the cry
His ears transform into his voice
The mere loan of the ear
Furnishes all amenity of the voice
Minds once more set to ease
Radical fears again propagate
The final cacophony echoes
The sizzle of coal heated metal
The sizzle of metal pressed
The sizzle now deaf to the smell of scorched flesh
A solid body part now liquefied
Burned
Melted
Sealed
Yet many still healed through his pupils
They yield such understanding
Solace would continue
Volumes speak through his eyes
Moods altered from a simple look
An entrancing countenance
A look so warm
A look so endearing
But to radicals
A look of menace
Metal thread through metal
Coil through a needle
Piercing the superior and lesser eye lid
Agony what the eye hid
Solid grey hue of metal interfered only by red stains
No more luminescence
Just the posterior of a dark eye lid
Sensing near body heat go cold
He now uses body temperature to console
Once again delivering comfort
And when he relinquishes what he has embraced
His arm is replaced by a stump
Decapitated at the bicep
The mutilated left limb
Now paints the ground crimson red
But instead of letting tears seep through and rust the metal coils
With his remaining right
He grasps a stick
He scribbles in the sand
“You can not silence the voice of someone who speaks without sound”
His words are his voice
His actions are his legacy
Left to carry on when he can no longer
How can you stifle a sound which makes no noise?
That which hears without hearing
That which sees without seeing
That which speaks without speaking
You can not silence
The voice of silence
