The Warrior
Sheathe your blade, valiant warrior
There will be no fight
for metal melts and flesh bubbles
when the truth consumes us all.
The slayers sleep no more "I have walked the path; the shadowed roads
that led to terror's breast. I have plumbed the depths of
Hatred's womb and scaled Destruction's crest.
For every secret left unveiled, for every power learned.
I'd sell the remmants of my soul, regardless how it burned.
And still I sought a higher wisdom few could have attained.
'Though I found it, it would leave me-broken, dammed and drained.
The molten cold, the grasp of reality
clenches painfully from our very birth
Rest well during the inevitable fall,
The rainclouds weep forever more,
For this night eternal sleep grasps us all. The warriors who watch,
through the lonely night.
Are guarding a world that sleeps,
Alert to detect the slightest sound.
Till, the shadows of night are gone.
Death is one thing in life that's certain,
This is one privelage no one can refrain,
Life, you see, is but a test
To see what realm suits you best,
Be it Heaven or Hell,
That's for only one to tell.....
