"Too Many Times (To the Father I didnt want)"
  by LakotaPoet12

There was too m any times that you hurt me,
too many times that you caused me pain.
only if you knew what you were doing or
the kind of game you were playing.
what went wrong that you treated us badly
there was too many times that you drank alcohol
threw a hit or whipped us with your rodeo belt.
too many years you spent wasting your life away,
Too many times i fell to my knees crying in miser.
too many times that i let you beat me..
i always wondered if anybody collected the rears that i cried
it would form a river
sometimes i think abou tthe life i could of had
too many times that i had to cut or harm myself
just to feel alive and that everything will be okay..
there have been too many times my dreams had been shattered to pieces
and couldnt be picked up again.....
There was just too many times.........
