I remember that night
As though it is still in sight
What she told me touched me more than physically,
But sought through my thoughts in
The deepest and farthests thoughts of my psyche
She told me me these words from heaven
At twenty seven
My precious jewel of light was an angel with her innocence
But I was no saint
And I was about to taint
But couldn't stop thinking promiscuously
Through all my promiscuity
That I was her Tree
Of Knowledge
That would forever change the outlook on this intriguing angel in college
Is this a test
Or am I a victim of circumstance
Because as it stands this may be my only one chance.
What do you do besides follow your natural instincts
Before it subtly or insidiously sinks
In
And the contemplating of the situation
Starts rising more within me
Vaguely Metaphysically I snap back into reality
And then Al Green turns into Isley Brothers "Between The Sheets"
On Track 3
And her mahogany
Eyes tell no lies as she looks up and
Tells me, "She loves me."
She loves me, She loves me
Now all I can see
Is the ora of her temptation urging into me
Then that's when we start the first phases of eloping.
But my conscience is like no more
No more, No more , No more
But by Track 4
That Damn Al B. Sure
