I can feel the storm brewing in me..
the thunder and lightening staging an all out war inside
trying to force me to open up and unleash their raft
to succumb to the pressure of explosion
but I can't see em coming down my eyes so..

I break away from the battle and run for the fire extinguisher
I begin to spray at massive levels the calm
at the base of the turmoil
and suppress these flames from over-taking me
I'm not ready to deal with this emotional chaos

There is only one...
and I lost my super powers a long time ago
but ill conquer this inner demon walking around in my thoughts
choking my heart with confusion
and warn him to tread lightly...

For there is weakened terrain under his feet
points where the earth hasn't yet had time to rebuild itself
from the last storm that blew through my soul.
