Words slip from there lips like water falls
As bodies swag and hands rock
Allowing minds to tick through seas of onlookers
Your being transforms a stage
A mirror reflecting your soul
Words glide pass teeth
Chewing letters nourishment
Feeding nation’s dyslexic heart
Yearning to hear you speak
Let tongues lash at mics disrespecting stares
Rearranging dialect forming hope
Through eyes glare staring down letters

YEAH I OWN YOU WHAT!!!?!!!

Words slip from youths lips like whispers
Allowing these words to speak a poet’s life
Traveling roads to open door way
A generation of slammers pounding on hearts
Allowing urban word to spread its wings and fly
