"We Already Have It All"
  by Cryssy-Rashad

They weren’t as privileged as the other kids
Because there was only one income
Rent, bills, and other necessities were barely covered.

There was no money for eating at a restaurant or ordering out
Food was always was the leftovers from the days before
Eat the left-over chicken from Sunday with the beans from today.

Shopping sprees at the second hand store,
Wearing the same shoes all year,
If they were really lucky they received hand-me-downs from the well-off cousins.

All of them slept in one room with the heater in the winter & with the fan in the summer.

But all the while, not once did they gripe about what they were short of
Being content with what they possessed.
So, why do we make such a commotion to our parents
Over what we don’t have when we already have it all?

Sometimes when materialistic wants overshadow needful things. We often take the simple things for granted. Forgetting about what's most important. Each other (life). Another one well done.........

ah...yes...well because we are selfish and don't see what truly means everything is already instilled in us by our creator...he made us complete...but we choose 2 succome 2 the faults within ourself...yes we aren't perfect but we choose 2 use that as an excuse instead of motivation...i loved this piece tho...it made me think..made me feel..and most of all took me back...2 what's truly vital!
