"when god made man"
  by Ґuƞgue-ғU MἀsTa

when god made man, he gave him authority in nature
and man could do anything he wanted

and adam said, "can i kill myself?"
and god said: DO NOT EAT FROM THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL

and adam said... "OMFG!
the terror of the prospect that i might actually decide to kill myself is worse than if i actually killed myself!"

and we've been killing ourselves ever since

yo you got me looking for the humor. seriously, this will make you think about life especially that last line. this is more along the lines of 'things that makes you say hmmm". but i dig it.

Humorous but dare I say there is some truth in the point you make of self mutulation.
