Where do we go from here?
Truthfully the situation isnt very clear
Ive been stuck in a state of confusion
now, I realize that will only thrive,until I reach a conclusion
and narrow it down to one choice
Make the decision to follow one voice
For the most part I just want to run and hide
Than to rearrange the broken pieces inside
The ramifications from this decision is huge
Theres so much on the line....a lot to loose
So I"d rather gamble,and whatever hand is dealt....just take
Make indirect decisions and write it off as fate
Thats crazy,when I hold so much in the palm of my hand
And when you get down to it,Im just a woman...youre just a man
Human beings,imperfect...flawed
What matters most is that we evolve
Into better versions of choices made'
Grow past the whims that enslave
Aim for landings that are so much higher
Than the cravings that satisfy one's desire
Withdraw from the flesh and meditate on mental focus
Continue to adjust our eyesight until we achieve clear focus
I guess what Im saying is that I want to rebuild with you
Travel the road step by step...see this thing through
This has gone on much to long
We cant keep dancing to the same verse of this song
And only time will tell if we create a new melody
Or bow out and decide to dance separately
Today that choice we dont have to face
