Your eyes - bright as a winter morning\'s glow
hold lies that will forever be...unknown,
to each new lover, your deceit\'s unshown,
but through the years, white lies began to grow
into - full fledged falsehoods. Before you know
it, they\'ve consumed each truth that tries to flow,
through parted lips. Past them, they shall not go.
For your mind is programmed to tell a lie,
and gritted teeth won\'t let the truth go by.
The only resolution is to cry,
and hope someone sees the truth in each eye.
