His arms restrained accross his chest
He struggles and cant get free
Exhausted drops to the floor
Curls into the featal position sobbing
What have I done
How did I end up here
It wasnt my fault
Why cant these questions leave my head
The tiny camera watches him in the corner of the room
Recording every movement
Every breath from his weekend body
Every nervous twitch on his face
The doctors observing him ask
Why is he here
How did he get here
Who were his parents
This young man
This boy
All of 17
Found on a corner with voices and visions
Why dont they stop talking to me
Why dont they leave me alone
Get away I will not do as you say
I know that I have to do it but I wont
The camera moves watching closely
The young man stands
Runs towards the wall
Slams his body as hard as he can as if trying to break through the concrete
The doctors come in and inject him with a sedative
The young man is screaming
Let me out
I have to
I
Have
toooo
Falls asleep
As the medico's leave the room they ask themselves
Why do they do this to themselves
