I WROTE ALL DAY
SO FOCUSED
I DIDNT KNOW
THE SUN FELL
AND THE MOON WAS THE REPLACER
I WROTE ALL DAY
THE SAME THING YOUR NAME
I THINK IM GOIN CRAZY
I USED UP ALL MY PAPER
NOW IM STARTING ON THE WALLS OF MY FLAT
DERANGE GRAPHITI ARTIST
YOU MIGHT DECLARE ME
I WROTE ALL DAY
TILL MY EYES BURNED
TILL MY HANDS ACHED
TILL MY PENCIL.... BROKE!
TILL MY PEN ..... DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEN I CRIED

cried cried cried
like a newborn baby

oh yes i cried.

We've all been there. We've all done that. Makes me think of that one unversal thing that we poets and writer share deep within. That one thing that connects us, makes us one. That one thing that makes us record our lives on paper. Nice write. Diggin' it. But the cryin' is a little spontaneous. I feel you though!

you wrote your own name, not his... otherwise, your poem would be about him and not how he affects you... (but i guess that's whu it's called obsession...)
