So melodic are you
in the essence of your
very nature...I sit in awe
of the way you seem to
align the very stars for me...
the way you make the world
seem so vividly technicolor...
you enhance me...with all that you do
the sun and the moon revolve
around you...and
without the offerings of your
sacrificial love for me
I fear the sun would cease to rise
and the
moon may miss it's appointment
with the midnight skies...

I see
generations of mankind
when I gaze into your eyes...
I hear
the words of the sages of
years gone by...
youthful lips
imparting aged wisdom to
all who surround you...
You are the embodiment
of what man was intended to be...
and I wonder...
have you been here before
there was a you and me?
Before two entities
united as one....were you
here as my father...and
I was your son? I mean I...
feel as though our paths have
crossed before...and I
question if you
walked through a door
from yesteryear
into today...
or...
we were simply predestined
to be in each other's live
somehow...some way...

I seek to
overstand the reason...
to have foresight to know
is this only for a season...or

is the beginning of something
withstanding time...
an innately spiritual connection
crossing boundaries and lines?

So melodic are you
in the essence of your
very nature...
and I seek only to
create beautiful harmony
in this life where
you and I...equal we.
